Philip V. Ferraiuolo, 93, a resident of North Haven since 1961, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his daughter’s home in New Haven. He was the husband of the late Catherine T. Perrotti Ferraiuolo. Philip was born in New Haven on May 5, 1920; son of the late Vincenzo and Mary Amoroso Ferraiuolo; served his country faithfully in the US Army during World War II; had worked for the former Aura Manufacturing for 42 years retiring as the head of shipping. He was a member of the American Legion – Murray/Reynolds Post # 76. Father of Lorraine Maisonet, Vincent (Linda) Ferraiuolo, Lee-Ann (Leo) Lionetti, David (Lisa) Ferraiuolo and the late Philip Ferraiuolo. Grandfather of Catherine (Edward) Maisonet-Taylor, Philip & Nicole Ferraiuolo Michael & Jocelyn Lionetti, Lindsay & Lauren Ferraiuolo. Great Grandfather of Saige, Cheyenne and Edward Taylor. Predeceased by his siblings Michael and Salvatore Ferraiuolo, Louise Beggs and Ann Ciarleglio.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.
