Rose M. Consiglio Siniscalchi, 84, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her son by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Siniscalchi. Rose was born in New Haven on September 23, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Maselli Consiglio. She had worked in the Display Department at the former Edward G. Malley Company of New Haven where she met her husband and later was a receptionist for Avanti Hair Design. Rose had bowled on the former St. Barnabas Church Bowling League for over 35 years and was a former Catechism teacher. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, writing, giving advice and speaking her mind. Loving mother of Joseph P. Siniscalchi and the late David J. Siniscalchi. Sister of William (Linda) Consiglio, Anne Kossack and the late Frances Massaro, Teresa Vischio and Salvatore Consiglio. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews whom she loved unconditionally.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 2nd from 5 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday morning Jan. 3rd at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
