Maureen Lawlor Crouch, 73, of North Haven, CT passed away peacefully in her home, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. She was the daughter of the late George and Harriet Lawlor. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Ralph Crouch, mother of Brian Crouch (Stacey Yarbrough), Mimi to Isabella and Riley Crouch, Sister to Carolyn (Keith) Wright of North Haven, Linda Crouch (and the late Donald) of Sunset Beach, NC. She is also survived by all her loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Maureen was born in New Haven on December 28, 1944. She was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in 1963. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s business for many years and as a bookkeeper in several other offices. She worked for the Town of North Haven for 10 years, until her retirement in 2003. Maureen always loved to have a good time with family and friends and was often the life of the party. She loved camping, was an avid New York Yankees and UCONN Huskies fan. But her favorite was watching her grandchildren play baseball, basketball, and dance recitals.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 pm.
