Eric J. Bisighini Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home at Towers Lane in New Haven on July 22, 2018, He was born on December 5, 1934 to the late Eric and Mary (Rizzo) Bisighini, grew up in Hamden along with his surviving sister and brother (Blanche Bisighini Bissell of North Haven and Robert Bisighini of Thailand), and married his high school sweetheart, the late Patricia (Ward) Bisighini.  He is survived by his four children, Eric Bisighini III and his wife Lynn of Narragansett, RI, Laurie Bisighini June and her husband Vince of Hoover, AL, Thomas Bisighini and his wife Robin of Middle Village, NY, and Scott Bisighini and Lisa Aguzzi of West Haven, CT.  Eric was predeceased by his grandson Sean Bisighini, but is survived by his remaining grandchildren Sara Bisighini, Mackenzie June and Jason Herget, great granddaughter Alyssa Herget, Ashley and Frank Ottens, and his healthcare aide Richard Dodoo.  Eric graduated from the University of Connecticut and was a lifelong Pharmacist and entrepreneur who owned and operated Farber’s Pharmacy of Hamden for many years, owned several Country Cards/Susan’s Hallmark stores throughout Connecticut and eventually owned and operated Brandi’s Market of Hamden as a family run business.  His other most noteworthy accomplishments include being past President of the Connecticut Pharmaceutical Association and volunteering at a local shelter serving meals on Thanksgiving. Eric was an avid fan of UConn Men’s/Women’s Basketball and the Boston Red Sox who enjoyed vacationing, celebrating festive/holiday occasions, savoring delicious desserts, charming others with his sense of humor, and reading several newspapers on a quiet Sunday morning.  The visiting hours will be held at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, on Friday July 27th from 4-7 PM.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Hamden on Saturday July 28th at 9:30 AM, followed by burial services at All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489
