Camille (Connie) Travaglini Feuhrer, 86, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank “Red” Feuhrer. Connie was born in New Haven on July 15, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Gino and Anna Guarnieri Travaglini. She had worked for Talons and was well known for being the smiling face that greeted you at West Shore Cleaners, West Haven for many years. Connie was a member and past president of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and the West Haven Italian American Civic Association Ladies Auxiliary. She was a faithful audience member of numerous performances of her daughters dance recitals. Connie was an active parishioner of St. John Vianney Church having served on the building development committee along with her late husband. Beloved mother of Camille Keenan, Donna Tartagni and her husband Dr. Joseph Tartagni and Francis Mark Feuhrer. Proud grandmother of Ryan Matthew Keenan, Dr. Jason Michael Tartagni and Justin Daniel Tartagni. Sister of Jean Travaglini Guilfoil, Eugene Thomas Travaglini and his wife Evelyn. Predeceased by her son-in-law Ronald Keenan.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. John Vianney Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd., West Haven on Monday morning at 11:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in St. Lawrence Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vasculitis Foundation, PO Box 28660, Kansas City, MO 64188. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
