Anthony N. Lacobelli, 83, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Linda Prentice Lacobelli. Anthony was born in New Haven on November 16, 1934 and was the son of the late Lucien and Concetta Patricelli Lacobelli. He served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Anthony worked for National Lumber Company for many years then later worked for Call Peter Inc. for 30 years until his retirement. He was a sports enthusiast being an avid St. Louis Cardinals and New England Patriots fan. Father of Anthony Lacobelli, Carol DiGiovanni and Diane Cella (Chip). Grandfather of Nicholas, Anthony and Jack DiGiovanni. Brother of MaryAnn Severino and the late Gene Lacobelli. Brother-in-law of Joyce and Gloria Bellonio.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery with full military honors. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
